Porsche Maintenance Guide
Most Porsche models follow the same straightforward service pattern. Plan on a minor service every 10,000 miles or 12 months, and a major service every 40,000 miles or 4 years, whichever comes first. A few models add a step or two, and those are listed further down. Services are cumulative, so a major service also includes everything from the minor and intermediate services performed at the same time.
A note on time-based items: some services are due by time rather than mileage. Brake fluid should be replaced every 2 years no matter how far you drive, since it absorbs moisture over time.
Model-Specific Differences
The schedule above covers the full lineup, including the 911, 718 Boxster and Cayman, Cayenne, Macan, and Panamera. A handful of models adjust a step:
Service due dates can vary by model year, so your owner's manual is the final word for your specific Porsche. Newer models will also display a service reminder on the dashboard when maintenance is due. If you are not sure where your car stands, our factory-trained technicians can confirm exactly what it needs.
